Stretching can be really helpful to help prevent soreness after a session so I'd recommend you do this after training sessions. Flexibility is important to get into certain positions in judo BJJ.
If you practice this you should get more flexible over time.
As you are going through the routine, you will see that you don't have to be super flexible in order to follow along.
